Manali to Khanol and Chikka
Twin-sharing tent at ChikkaReport in Manali at 08:00, then take the included drive via Jagatsukh to Khanol, listed at about 1.5 hours. Climb gradually through pine forest to the Chikka campsite near the Nag Mandir. The card's 12 km figure mixes an arrival/transfer stage with trekking; confirm the actual walking distance.
Chikka to Seri
Twin-sharing tent at SeriWalk approximately 6 km in 5-6 hours beside the Jagatsukh River, through forest and boulder sections to the open Seri meadows. Streams and the waterfall basin surround the campsite. Follow the guide at all crossings.
Seri to Tainta
Twin-sharing tent at TaintaCross the meadow and stream before a steep boulder ascent into moraine terrain. The approximately 3 km stage takes 3-4 hours. Use the remaining time for rest and leader-directed acclimatization around Tainta camp.
Mini Chandratal Excursion
Twin-sharing tent at TaintaLeave the main backpack at camp and carry packed lunch for the approximately 10 km, 6-7-hour round trip. Moraine and a steep ascent lead towards the high lake at 4,480 m. Return to Tainta; access depends on weather, snow and team condition.
Tainta to Chikka via Seri
Twin-sharing tent at ChikkaRetrace the route through Seri's meadows to Chikka, approximately 9 km in 5-6 hours. The operator identifies Dudu Pathar as the lunch halt. Descend carefully through the rocky sections to the lower camp.
Chikka to Khanol and Manali
No overnight accommodation includedReturn on foot to Khanol and take the included vehicle to Manali via Jagatsukh. The card lists 12 km and 4-5 hours without clearly separating road and walking portions. Arrival is expected late afternoon; the operator recommends onward bookings after 19:00, with extra margin for delays.
