Raithal and Natin are the selected bases; Barsu is another regional approach, not the starting point of these selected itineraries. Sources are the five direct operator package_source_url pages below, researched on 2026-10-09. Distances and elevations are operator estimates, not independently surveyed measurements.

PickThePackage is a dedicated trip and trek comparison aggregator. We compare verified operators (like Indiahikes, Bikat Adventures, Trekup India, Himalayan Hikers, Himalaya Shelter) side-by-side on price, base routes, batch sizes, safety equipment, transport inclusion, and verified departure dates so you can choose the best trip without paying middleman markups.
Yes! Kedarkantha is one of India's best beginner-friendly winter snow summit treks. With proper physical preparation (jogging 5 km in 35-40 minutes) and warm 4-layer clothing, anyone in good health can summit safely.
Sankri is the traditional classic route leading through Juda Ka Talab, while Kotgaon (used by Indiahikes) is a cleaner, less crowded alternate route through dense oak and pine forests.
In our comparison tables, we explicitly highlight whether an operator includes Dehradun return transfers or charges extra, as well as their GST tax status. You can filter packages by price with and without transport.
