Know before you go

Board an overnight Volvo from Delhi, reach Bir in the morning and check in to a Swiss camp or hotel. Paragliding charges are included: take off from Billing (about 2,400 m) and glide for 15-20 minutes to land in Bir (about 1,500 m). The afternoon is free for cafés, monasteries and optional cycling, followed by a bonfire and dinner. Day 2 includes a 2-3 hour hike to Gunehar Waterfall before the overnight bus back to Delhi. Group departures are for ages 18-40.

Paragliding and Bir exploration

Swiss Camp / Hotel

Arrive in Bir, check in to a hotel or camp and have breakfast. Drive to the Billing take-off site and glide over the Kangra Valley for a flight of about 15-20 minutes, landing at the Bir landing site. Afternoon free to explore the market, cafés and monasteries (mountain bike rental at your own cost). Evening bonfire, dinner and overnight stay in Bir.

Breakfast and check-out, then a 2-3 hour hike to Gunehar Waterfall. After lunch, board the overnight bus back to Delhi.
