Day 1

Manali to Chikka via Jobra

Tents

Drive from Manali to Jobra and trek through forests, meadows and river-side terrain toward the Chikka campsite.

Chikka to Balu Ka Ghera

Tents

Trek alongside the Hamta River through changing landscapes, stream crossings and open meadows to Balu Ka Ghera.

Day 3

Balu Ka Ghera to Shea Goru via Hampta Pass

Tents

Ascend toward Hampta Pass, cross the high point and descend into the Lahaul Valley toward Shea Goru.

Shea Goru to Chhatru and Chandratal

Tents

Descend toward Chhatru and continue by vehicle toward Chandratal. Visit the lake before returning toward the Chhatru camping area.

Drive from Chhatru back toward Manali through the Lahaul landscape and Atal Tunnel area, completing the crossover trek.
