Know before you go

The fare panel shows INR 26,000 per person and quick information lists 5% GST and INR 900 insurance. No separate discount is shown. Transport information conflicts: inclusions say 'Shimla to Barua', the metadata shows a zero transport fee, generic exclusions charge pickup-to-base vehicles, and Day 7 adds a Shimla drive. Neither direction is treated as unconditionally included without an itemized quote. Headline distance is 38 km; short and detailed routes differ on Day 3 (4-5 versus 6-7 km) and Day 7 (5-6 versus 6-7 km). The detailed day cards are followed here. Meals run from Day 1 dinner to Day 7 breakfast. No complete future batch inventory was verified.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Shimla to Janglik

Shared homestay/guesthouse at Janglik

The itinerary starts with approximately 150 km of driving over 7-8 hours to Janglik, with a possible short approach from Diude. Confirm pickup and the separate transport quotation. Settle into the homestay or guesthouse for the first night.

Dinner
Day 2

Janglik to Dayara Thatch

Twin-sharing tent at Dayara Thatch

Trek approximately 6-7 km over 5-6 hours past wooden village homes and into oak/pine forest. The route opens onto Dayara's meadows before the campsite. Gain altitude steadily and rest after reaching camp.

Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner
Day 3

Dayara Thatch to Litham

Twin-sharing tent at Litham

Follow the detailed card's approximately 6-7 km, 5-6-hour route through meadow, pine/birch woods and stream crossings to Litham. The short itinerary instead gives 4-5 km, so confirm the stage length. Stay in the waterfall basin before the lake excursion.

Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner
Day 4

Chandranahan Lake Acclimatization Excursion

Twin-sharing tent at Litham

Ascend towards Chandranahan Lake and return to Litham, approximately 5-6 km in 4-5 hours. The outing includes steep ascent and descent despite its acclimatization label. Follow the guide's crossing points and turn back if conditions require.

Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner
Day 5

Litham to Dhunda

Twin-sharing tent at Dhunda

Climb approximately 4-5 km in 4-5 hours along the upper Pabbar and into rocky alpine terrain. Reach Dhunda beneath the pass and prepare for the crossing. The day card gives 13,425 ft while prose rounds the camp to 13,300 ft.

Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner
Day 6

Cross Buran Ghati to Munirang River Camp

Twin-sharing tent at Munirang/River Camp

Undertake the approximately 8 km, 9-10-hour crossing to the river camp. Snow conditions determine start time and whether rope-managed descent is required. The guide assesses the pass and descent; arrival is not a guarantee of crossing in adverse conditions.

Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner
Day 7

Munirang to Barua and Quoted Shimla Transfer

No overnight stay

The detailed card gives a 6-7 km descent in 5-6 hours to Barua, compared with 5-6 km in the short itinerary. It then lists approximately 213 km driving over 6-7 hours to Shimla. Confirm that return leg's booking and charge; only breakfast is included today.
