Cancellation Terms
Kashmir-specific source: https://himalayanhikers.in/blog/important-advisory-note-for-jammu-and-kashmir-trekkers-2026 , dated 2026-05-18. Its full-refund promise applies only to a prohibitive government/military advisory issued on or before 2026-06-15; that cutoff has passed and is not a current blanket refund promise. When treks operate after that date, stated personal cancellation terms are 90% refund at 30+ days, 50% at 21-30 days and none at less than 20 days. Clarify the overlapping day-30 and unspecified day-20 boundaries. If stopped at base camp or mid-trek by military orders, closure or unrest, the advisory says no refund; an alternative route or two-year credit voucher may be offered where feasible. Post-cutoff pre-departure government cancellation is not clearly resolved in this advisory: obtain written terms. Standard policy: https://himalayanhikers.in/cancellation-policy .
