Day-by-Day Itinerary
Dehradun to Raithal Community Campus
Swiss tent at Indiahikes Raithal Community CampusIf transport is pre-booked, report at Asli Pappu Da Dhaba at 06:30. The source lists approximately 185 km and 8-9 hours to Raithal via the mountain-road corridor. Arrive the preceding day in Dehradun where practical, as advised in the current travel section. At Raithal, stay in Swiss tents at the Indiahikes Community Campus. Included meals begin with dinner.
Raithal to Gui
Twin-sharing tent at GuiAscend approximately 4.5 km in about 5 hours. Leave the village fields, pass forest clearings and continue through oak and rhododendron woodland to Gui. The sustained initial ascent requires a steady pace. Gui lies in a forest clearing near seasonal pastoral huts and a small lake. Spend the night in a two-person camping tent.
Gui to Chilapada
Twin-sharing tent at ChilapadaFollow the roughly 2.5 km trail towards Chilapada, taking approximately 2-3 hours. Pass Gui Thatch and woodland sections with gradual climbs and flatter stretches. The shorter day allows time to rest before the meadow excursion. Streams may be flowing, frozen or dry depending on the season, so follow the team's water and route guidance.
Chilapada to Nayata via Dayara Top
Twin-sharing tent at NayataClimb out of the forest to the Dayara meadows and follow the leader towards the high point. The published total stage is approximately 9.5 km and 6-7 hours, with a steeper final climb that is more demanding in snow. After the meadow excursion, descend through woodland to Nayata for the overnight camp. Turnaround decisions depend on conditions and participant health.
Nayata to Raithal
Swiss tent at Indiahikes Raithal Community CampusDescend approximately 4 km over 4-5 hours beneath the forest canopy, with short undulations before the steeper lower descent. Return to Raithal village and continue to the community campus. Collect stored luggage and spend the last night in the campus Swiss tents. The explicit included meal window finishes after dinner today.
Raithal to Dehradun
No overnight stayReturn to Dehradun on the pre-booked non-AC transfer or independent transport, allowing approximately 8-9 hours for the 185 km journey. The operator estimates arrival around 18:00 and recommends a buffer for onward travel. Although the narrative says to depart after breakfast, the explicit meal inclusion ends at Day 5 dinner; confirm and budget for Day 6 meals separately.
