Know before you go

Start with a 15-20 minute paragliding flight at Solang Valley or Bir Billing (depending on weather), then raft the Beas at Sissu or Pirdi (depending on water level and package) for 1-2 hours. Pilots and guides brief and train beginners. The whole experience runs about 4-6 hours between 9 AM and 5 PM, depending on weather. Best months are March to June and September to December.

Paragliding flight followed by Beas river rafting

Report from 9:00 AM for the safety briefing and training. Take a 15-20 minute tandem paragliding flight at Solang Valley or Bir Billing (weather permitting), then move on to the rafting point at the Beas, Sissu or Pirdi. Raft for 1-2 hours with certified guides, then wrap up. Phones and cameras are not allowed during the flight; flight videos can be bought.
