Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive in Leh
Leh hotel; excluded from package costThe source opens with arrival and rest in Leh, with optional cultural visits only if acclimatization permits. Hotel stay is mentioned in the day card but explicitly excluded in the cost table, as are Leh meals. Airport pickup may be arranged at additional cost. Reserve and pay for the required Leh stay separately unless a revised quote includes it.
Leh Acclimatization - Source Conflict
Leh under heading; tent metadata conflicts, confirmThe published heading is acclimatization in Leh, but no supporting narrative is provided and the attached metadata instead lists an 8 km, five-hour walk with tent accommodation. These are not treated as a confirmed trekking stage. Obtain a corrected rest-day plan and overnight allocation; Leh food and hotels remain excluded under the explicit cost terms.
Leh to Chilling and Skiu - Route to Confirm
Skiu twin tent/homestayThe heading describes driving Leh-Chilling and trekking to Skiu, with a separate 5 km/three-hour card. Its long paragraph instead starts near Ganda La base, crosses that pass and descends via Shingo to Skiu. These are different approaches and must not be combined into one promised day. Skiu is the stated overnight destination; obtain the actual roadhead, walking hours and transfer charge in writing.
Skiu to Markha
Markha twin tent/homestayThe narrative follows the Markha River past Sara and Chalak, with a lunch halt and guide-selected river crossings before Markha village. The card lists 25 km and nine hours but also an unrelated pass elevation, so treat those figures as provisional rather than a validated stage specification. Stay in the allocated twin tent or homestay.
Markha to Hankar - Endpoint to Confirm
Hankar or Thochuntse; source endpoint conflictContinue through the upper valley and Umlung, with river crossings and views toward Kang Yatse. The heading ends at Hankar but the paragraph continues toward Thochuntse; the card's 20 km/seven-hour data may also belong to another stage. Confirm the actual overnight village or camp rather than assuming both destinations are included.
Hankar to Nimaling
Nimaling tent; source's generic homestay label unconfirmedThe heading leads to Nimaling, while the narrative starts near Thochuntse and describes a six-kilometre climb past a pond and pasture. The metadata instead says 13 km/six hours with a conflicting elevation. Nimaling is the intended exposed camp, but the start point, distance and overnight equipment must be confirmed. Use treated water rather than assuming natural sources are safe.
Kongmaru La, Chokdo and Leh
Leh overnight not included; final card conflictsThe heading crosses Kongmaru La to Chokdo and returns to Leh; the narrative continues through the canyon toward Shang Sumdo and gives 2-3 hours for the Leh drive. Its seven-kilometre/three-hour card and tent/homestay label do not describe this whole pass-and-transfer day reliably. Confirm the exit roadhead and full timing. Any final Leh hotel night, meals or airport taxi are extra under the cost table.
