Shimla to Janglik
Shared guesthouse at JanglikWith booked transport, report near Shimla Old Bus Stand for the 06:30 pickup. Drive approximately 160 km in 9-10 hours to Janglik. Meet the team and settle into the guesthouse; independent arrivals should confirm the property and reporting deadline.
Janglik to Dayara Thatch
Shared tent at Dayara ThatchTrek approximately 7 km in 5-6 hours, ascending through village and forest terrain to Dayara's meadows. Gain roughly 1,950 ft before the first trail camp. Confirm sharing allocation because the cost table and headline differ.
Dayara Thatch to Litham
Shared tent at LithamContinue approximately 5 km over 3-4 hours, combining meadow, forest and stream sections. This shorter stage reaches Litham for lunch and afternoon rest. Follow the field team's crossing points and acclimatization instructions.
Chandranahan Lake Return Excursion
Shared tent at LithamTrek approximately 7 km return in 5-6 hours towards Chandranahan Lake, then return to Litham. The ascent is steeper than the preceding stage and the lunch arrangement depends on pace. The prose mistakenly calls this Day 6; the day card clearly places it on Day 4.
Litham to Dhunda
Shared tent at DhundaClimb approximately 4 km in 5-6 hours towards Dhunda. The short distance includes steep terrain and greater altitude exposure. Rest at the high camp and prepare the equipment assigned for the crossing.
Cross Buran Ghati to Munirang
Shared tent at Munirang river campUndertake the approximately 7.9 km, 10-11-hour stage across Buran Ghati and down to Munirang river camp. The highest point is the 15,000 ft pass; the heading incorrectly uses that figure for Munirang. Follow the guide's timing and rope system rather than treating generic meal-time prose as the ascent schedule.
Munirang to Barua and Optional Shimla Transfer
No overnight accommodation includedDescend approximately 7 km in 4-5 hours to Barua. If booked, continue approximately 210 km to Shimla, listed at 10-11 hours. The general return estimate is 22:00-23:00 but should be confirmed against this long combined day; lunch at Barua and dinner are extra.
