The trek approaches Valley of Flowers through Govindghat, Pulna and Ghangaria. From Ghangaria, the trail enters the national park and crosses alpine meadows and Pushpawati Valley before returning through Ghangaria.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Haridwar to Govindghat and Pulna

Guest House

Drive through the Garhwal Himalayas along the Alaknanda River to Govindghat and continue to Pulna.

Pulna to Ghangaria

Guest House

Trek uphill along the Laxman Ganga valley through forested slopes and mountain scenery to Ghangaria.

Day 3

Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers and Return

Guest House

Enter the national park and trek into the Valley of Flowers, exploring its alpine meadows and mountain backdrop before returning to Ghangaria.

Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and Return

Climb the steep trail to Hemkund Sahib and its glacial lake before descending back to Ghangaria.

Ghangaria to Pulna and Govindghat

Descend to Pulna and drive to Govindghat for an overnight stay.

Govindghat to Haridwar

No Overnight Stay

Drive back through the Alaknanda valley to Haridwar and finish the trek.
