Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Manali to Jobra and Trek to Chika

Tents

Transfer from Manali to Jobra and trek approximately 2.5 km through pine forests, meadows and Rani Nallah to Chika.

Chika to Balu Ka Ghera

Tents

Trek along Rani Nallah through flower-filled valleys, rocky sections and glacier-fed stream crossings before reaching Balu Ka Ghera.

Balu Ka Ghera to Hampta Pass to Shea Goru

Tents

Climb through snow and rocky terrain to Hampta Pass at about 14,000 feet, then descend steeply toward the Shea Goru campsite.

Descend to Chhatru and continue by vehicle to Chandratal Lake if road access, weather and local permissions allow.
